Causes and solutions for stains or vignetting on the monitor screen

As we all know, no matter how good a product is used for a long time, it may cause problems. Sometimes the monitor screen will have some color spots or color halos. I will explain how to deal with these problems for everyone.

1) Slightly magnetized

Please power off the machine for at least half an hour, and then restart it, so as to solve the local color cast caused by slight magnetization.

2) Thermal arching effect

If the automatic degaussing cannot be improved, and it is confirmed that the color spots are more obvious in the bright picture, it can be preliminarily judged as the thermal arching effect of the picture tube caused by the picture staying on the picture with obvious brightness contrast for a long time. If it is a new purchase customer, it is recommended to reduce the brightness of the monitor and turn it off for 20 minutes and then restart it. It is also recommended that the customer try to avoid leaving the monitor in the light-dark contrast screen for a long time to increase the life of the picture tube; if the product is used for a long time If the problem occurs later, it is generally difficult to recover. This problem is an inherent defect caused by the CRT imaging principle. It is recommended that customers change their usage habits (don't display a fixed contrast screen for a long time) to avoid it.

3) Severe magnetization

If the automatic degaussing cannot be solved, and the thermal arching effect is excluded, it can be judged that the picture tube is seriously magnetized. It is recommended to ask a service engineer to handle it. The general treatment methods include: replacing the degaussing resistor, using a degaussing tool to manually degauss, and attaching a degaussing sheet.
